got bike back from second dyno center ,and it still has slight hiccups ,if you hold it at a constant rpm down low between 2 to 5,they are only slight, but i can feel and hear slight pops, is it possible to get rid of them altogether or do you have to live with them ,,,i have 16 gauge vmod 11 and kn filter topless ,,,and sert,wil take pic of the sheets if this will help tomorrow, the touque curve is smooth but the a/f is up and down a bit ,,can dyno guys get the a/f really smooth like a line across with the sert or is the unobtanable,,,,thanks brett,,,,,,,,ps when you ghive it stick and roll on and off the throttle its fantastic ,as i said its just when you hold it at a constant,,,:banghead:

It takes time but they can completely smooth out the map by setting and checking at every 100rpm. But most only check and change the settings at every 500rpm.

Most dyno supplied charts are at WOT. Pops and hiccups usually occur at part throttle or during deccel conditions. Good tuners can often correct these but it's hard to diagnose with torque and power curves plotted from WOT data.

dyno guy told me sert could only be done in 500 increments and not less,,,with the sert,,,he isnt fibbing to me is he,,,,grrrrr

I don't know about the sert but the pcIII can do it in 250rpm increments. I would assume the sert can also. Even if it is done in 250rpm intervals it will be pretty fine tuned and be smooth.

Adjustable RPM increments in the VRSC SERT files varies with the VRSC models and the table being adjusted (VRSCSE with the 1250 CC engines had lower RPM limits). Since the '07 VRSCAW has the 1130 CC engine, the following RPM values are addressable:

In the AFR table: 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, 7000, 8000, 9000, 10000, and 11000

In the VE tables: 1000, 1200, 1500, 1750, 2000, 2250, 2500, 2750, 3000, 3250, 3500, 3750, 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, 7000, 8000, 9000, 10000, and 11000

Equally important important values for your problem are the part throttle positions in these tables:
20, 30, 35, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100 kPa manifold pressure in the AFR table
0%, 1%, 2%, 5%, 7%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 80%, 100% TP in the VE tables
