just an fyi to potential v-rod purchasers...
I had sticky, and difficult downshifting and a really tricky neutral when I got my bike. However, it only had 7 miles on it and the dealer said give it 250 miles. After a couple of days of riding, its broken in nicely. So don't be alarmed if you try a new bike and get this behavior.
The heel shifter that I mentioned in the General thread makes finding neutral very easy for me. I sometimes struggled using toe shifting. Just a slight tap with the heel does it now.
