I have a 2006 VRSCR. Had not ridden it in some time, so I charged the battery. After charging the battery I attempted to start it. Engine cranked for a few seconds, then there was a distinct "pop" that seemed to come from around the instrument panel. After that it will not crank at all.

Any ideas?

What happens when you turn the switch to ignition? Does instrument panel come on? Do you hear fuel pump?

I agree with tbird. The ignition fuse is located on the right side front underneath that (quarter panel?). It's a 15 amp (blue)
