I have been riding for years and i have never had my bike stall on me while in motion....i know, hard to believe. I was wondering what happens when a bike stalls....does the tire lock up...or do you just coast? I have heard many riders loss it on a turn when they stall....i can see how that could happen when you might not have enough speed to get upright again...but what about straight aways?

99% of the stalling complaints I have seen on the v-rod occur when they pull the clutch in. So in that case nothing happens. In the case of v-rodney and I think he was low on fuel when he stalled in the corner it depends on the gear and speed your at, low speeds and low gear seem to be the worst if your in say a hard turn and low gear and stall the back tire can lockup. Usually if your in a higher gear the tire will turn the motor over until you pull the clutch in.
