Hello,
I have this strange noise coming from what I think is the front wheel (right side). The noise is not grinding but more of a hight pitched singing (hard to explain) as it's turning. Of course I only hear it at low speeds. Anyway, I can see some rust around the right side wheel bearing. Could this rust have something to do with the noise? If so what? What should be my next steps? I can live with a little noise as long as everything is safe. Oh, my dealer totally s%$ks so I don't want to bring it to them. If anything, I will have to find a dealer I can trust to take a look.

Sound common?

Thanks for any info.

The bearings are sealed, it is common if you ride in the rain or wash frequently to see surface rust on the outside of the bearing. I suspect it is brakes dragging some. I would keep an eye out but would not be to concerned myself - if you are worried and don't like your dealer may be worth a few dollars to have another shop look at it.
