I have an 07 night rod special and I’m trying to wire in my signal stabilizer but can’t seem to get it working. Can any tell me where to posi tap the wires into? Or pictures. I’ve tried the male end of the signal harness right before the rear signals. Thanks..

Do you mean a turn signal "load equalizer"?

If so, it should have two inputs and a ground. One input should go to a V = violet wire and the other should go to a BN = brown wire that are fed by the TSM/TSSM/HFSM (turn signal/security module) pins 5 & 6 respectively.

These wires run from the TSM/TSSM/HFSM to the front and rear turn signals. On a 2007 VRSCDX the easiest place to find these is under the passenger seat at the TSM/TSSM/HFSM.

You say you tried at the male end of the rear turn signal harness. That should be a 6-place Multilock connector and the turn signal feeds are in positions 3 and 5 with grounds at positions 2, 4, and 6. The load equalizer inputs should go to positions 3 and 5 and the ground should go to 2, 4 or 6 (all are equivalent).

Okay thanks. And yeah it’s a load equalizer, there’s also a blue wire that come with it do you know where that goes? I’ve tried connecting it to the blue one on the female end of the harness but didn’t work.

Didn't your load equalizer come with instructions? What brand is it. Might help to know that.

Yah sorry.. it’s the custom dynamics universal signal stabilizer.. and the instructions aren’t very helpful

the wiring harness I’m holding is to the rear signals. Is this where I posti tap into with the signal stabilizer?
Yes that's the 6-place Multilock connector I mentioned above. The V and BN wires feed the turn signals, the blue feeds the running lights and the blacks are all grounds. I just read these instructions from Custom Dynamics for their Signal Stabilizer (I added comments in italics):
  1. Make sure bike power is off. (Remove MAXI fuse.)
  2. Locate wires going to rear directional lights. If a Run-Brake-Turn module is installed, Signal Stabilizer™ must go before Run-Brake-Turn module. (the wires you need are in the 6-place Multilock connector that feeds the rear turn signals.)
  3. Attach Purple wire from Signal Stabilizer™ unit to left side rear directional wire using Posi-Tap™ connectors supplied with kit.
  4. Attach Brown wire from Signal Stabilizer™ unit to Right side rear directional wire using Posi-Tap™ connectors supplied with kit.
  5. Attach Black Wire from Signal Stabilizer™ unit to ground wire in wiring harness using Posi-Tap™ connectors supplied with kit.
  6. Attach the Blue Wire from Signal Stabilizer™ unit to constant power or running light wire in harness using PosiTap™ connectors supplied with kit.
  7. Before turning power on, make sure the load switch on the side of the stabilizer is in the “normal” position. (See next page for Diagram). (Before step 8. below I would perform a turn signal "load learn" procedure:
    Replace MAXI fuse and then disconnect battery negative for at least 1 minute and then reconnect it.
    turn ignition switch OFF-ON
    activate left turn signal lamps for 4 (or more) flashes
    activate right turn signal lamps for 4 (or more) flashes)
  8. Turn key on and test turn signal, running lights, and brake lights for proper operation. If you experience fast flashing from the turn signals, turn the key off, move the recessed switch on the side of the stabilizer to the “high” position (see diagram on next page), use a small screwdriver or similar object to move the switch. Repeat this step once the switch is moved.
  9. Test Alarm for proper operation, if equipped.

Okay thanks for the help. The stabilizer must be broke. I’ll try n return it. I’ve tried a few times in this spot. And decided to try the front.. now my headlight and front signals don’t work , hopefully I just unhooked something putting it back together . will have to look at it again when I get home from work.

Technically, it doesn't matter if you hook to the front or back. The front and back signals are fed by the same outputs from the TSM/TSSM/HFSM. The only distinction is left or right.
