Hey guys, new to this forum and to the Harley World. Just a quick question: Where do I buy the nice LED side mount plate and what are good tail lights to purchase so I can open up the rear of my bike? Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the sites. I'm definitely interested in the Altered State Designs license plate vertical mount but can't figure out what kind of tail lights I should get. I appreciate the input, now if I could only find a windscreen...
Moving the plate to the side looks great, you can get rear turn signal mounts that move the turn signals to the top of the rear shock and you can remove the entire plastic plate mount. This leaves behind the saddle bag mounts though. I was thinking about getting the turn signal mounts that move the turn signals to the saddle bag mounts but I haven't seen a close up of the rear fender like this. Does the fender have a big ugly gap where the plate mount used to be?
It also depends on if you are keeping the stock signals. MegaZ makes the mounts that go onto the saddlebag mounts and they take the stock signals. Most that go on the top shock mount need smaller (usually LED) lights. There are also taillights that have signals built in. Do a search for those. Not sure if the guy who was making really good ones is still doing it, but you got a great tail light with strobe options, signal options, etc.
Quite a few of us just cheaply fabricated mounts just to get rid of the dogass as quickly as possible, I bought KillerVrod's Sidemount and it works and looks great. Here is my post on how I did mine, and others have contributed theirs as well.
