Does anyone know of any aftermarket shifters that are longer in length? I have to slide my foot down on the peg then stab my foot between the shifter and peg to up shift and keep it bent down so I don’t ride the shifter and wonder where all my gears went. I thought about adjusting it but don’t know if I’ll get enough to do me any good. Any thoughts?

J.B. (OK) if your using the stock rod it has an amazing amount of adjustment in it. I even use a stock shift rod with the reduce reach pegs turned backwards.

To adjust the stock shift rod simply loosen the single nut and then with an allen wrench remove one end or the other and adjust the length of the rod by turning it in our out depending on which direction you need to go. A little adjustment makes a big difference.

Thanks Max! I'll give it a shot this weekend and see how it works. I have an 03 with the gold key kit and it's all stock except the dip stick.
