i'm in the need of a service manual for my 2006 R. i've done some looking online, and am going to the stealership this weekend to look for one.

my questions are...

1) what is an expected price to pay for it? like at what point would they be raping me on price?

2) online i've seen some service manuals on CD... has anyone used these? the one i remember seeing said it was not harley endorced or whatever. so is there a chance it would be false? or did someone just scan the pages to a computer and see a money making oportunity?

The service manual costs $60 at a dealer.The Harley manuals sold at the dealers are the best.

alright. i called my stealer today and they have one in stock for 60. i'll pick one up this weekend.

and hopefully a tire and a new riding jacket too!
