I bought a 2003 VRod with 4000 miles on it now and it runs perfectly. It accelerates like nothing I thought I would ever own.Its what we call Stupid fast in Oakland California. It has a CFR fueler and exhaust and accelerates perfectly smooth from 2000 to 6500 RPM's. But I have read post after post from VRod owners who are having problems. Everything else is stock on my bike if there is someone who needs to know what settings I have I will post a picture of my Fueler

I should have mentioned that I have never had it past 6500 RPM's

I have a 13 vrod San Jose area if you want to cruise. But yes I agree the power band gets going above 6000 rpm. I do need a tune though. I hear other Bay Area HD shops are better than the one in SJ.
sorry i did not respond sooner, i would love to go fo a spin couple things i need to do to my bike first I live in Hayward
