I had following idea:
Deliberatly use of low octane (i.e. 90) fuel in order to find out the safety margin of the presently installed ECU tables against knock retards.
The critical areas should show up quite clearly in RT data mode and one would know which areas in the AFR / Ignition tables have to be dealt with greater care.
Just a tip, think about it.
