I have not had a chance to pick up a service manual yet for my '06 D but I want to rotate my bars back about an inch for a more comforatable position. Is it simply a matter of taking speedo off, loosening the bolts that secure the bars and then tightening them up again?

Thanks,

Glenn

Yes. It's an easy job. I adjusted mine by loosening the bars then I sat on my bike, closed my eyes and stuck my hands out. Where my hands wound up is where I mounted the bar.

The torque spec is 144-180 inch pounds. Ensure equal portions of the knurl part are on each side of the clamp to center the bars. Also, I had to be careful how far back I pulled my reduced reach bars back so they would not contact the airbox cover in a turn.
