Okay folks, as promised, here are the details of the Group Buy:

The price went up to $499. This includes shipping to your door. That's still a savings of $150 off retail. The maximum number of orders is 70. We don't have to wait until all 70 are in to place the order. I can feed the orders a dozen or so at a time, so fulfillment should only take a couple of weeks, rather than the 6 or so weeks it took with the last bunch.

Orders will be fulfilled according to the order that funds hit my paypal account. That's the only fair way to do it. All orders are final once the money is transferred by me to the vendor.

Last round, we had a few problems with folks not giving me their proper addresses from the beginning, so this time around, please make sure that your Paypal address is CURRENT. If it's not, please include your CURRENT shipping address in the notes field. Also, please include your FORUM NAME in the notes field.

Paypal charges around 3% processing fee, so to order you'll need to send $514 to [email protected]. As with the last purchase, I can't make any time commitments, but my expectation is that the first wave of tanks should arrive at buyer's doors within two weeks.

FAQs

Q: Can you save me a spot while I transfer money?
A: No. That wouldn't be fair to others

Q: Can I change my address?
A: No. Please note your current address in the paypal notes field. The order will be placed soon after you send in funds, so there won't be much time for address changes. If this is an emergency, exceptions can be made to a point.

Q: Will this work on a VRSCD?
A: Yes, but with some minor modifications to the passenger right peg mount.

Q: Will this tank expand?
A: No noticable expansion has been noted by anyone that has installed thus far.

Q: What material is the tank made from?
A: The same material used by Harley Davidson for the entire 2007+ model years.

Q: Why did you close the original thread? That freaks me out!
A: Sorry... I didn't want to freak you out. The original thread was getting pretty big. It was hard to find relevant information. With this post, I'll edit these three top posts as needed, and note that at the end of the thread. You should be able to check the beginning of the thread for the most recent info.

Q: I'm not ready to order now... will you run this GB again later?
A: This will probably be the last Group Buy on the Rick's tank. Obviously things could change, but right now, I expect this will be the end.

Q: When will the order be placed?
A: I'll be sending in orders about a dozen at a time.

Q: Does this price include shipping?
A: Yes. The total out of pocket should be 499+3% to paypal. (514 total)
