Should the Rev Limiter kick in before the Red Line on the Tach? Mine kicks in just over 8000 RPMs...Redline on the Tach is 9000 or so. What gives?

LOL...your sig threw me off...I was like 'Don't get all cunty?' I haven't even replied yet.

Anyways...I will pay more attention tomorrow. I know it does it as soon as I take off, but I think it does it after I've been riding for like 10 minutes...should be plenty warm by then I would think.

Yes when you first take off absolutely. It is designed that way so you don't harm the motor by over revving the bike while it is cold. I believe it is set to red line at 7800 RPM when cold.

Even after 10 minutes if you still hit it I would give it some more time. It may depend on your riding and outside temperature. I would say if after 20 to 30 minutes you are hitting it at 7800 then there may be something else going on.
