I picked up some chrome hand levers and I'm going to be swapping out the stock ones. The parts guy and the instruction sheet both mention that the plastic peice on the roller portion of the clutch lever are very easily broken; but didn't give any advice on how to avoid breaking it. I'm the kind of person that sometimes has to do a job twice before I get it right, and I want to avoid that if possible!

I was just wondering if anyone here that has done this job has any tips or recommendations for me before I do the job.

Once again thanks for your time!

Jav I have done several, they are very easy. The only thing tricky at all is the very small snap ring that holds the bottom of the pin in that retains the handle. A good set of picks or snap ring pliers is a must to make sure you don't stretch the ring out.

Total time for change should be less then ten minutes.
