Anybody know if it takes any special tools to change the HD steel 28T sprocket to a billet one (like a TT)?
thanks in advance

For a start you would need a HD 30T flange to attach it to.brent_walkoviak said:Anybody know if it takes any special tools to change the HD steel 28T sprocket to a billet one (like a TT)?

The manual shows that you need a 3 leg puller to get the flange off and you need a special socket / tool to fix in a retaining ring.brent_walkoviak said:Bob, no nothing wrong with HD one and yes the billet is lighter, so less work for motor to turn.
Vrodder, thanks that is the info I was wondering about, I think I still have the flange from the switch from 30T to 28T.
