I know some have talked about this before and I understand that getting the bolt out of the rear can be tuff but did anyone ever notice that when hitting on the right side that the left side of the swing arm and some flex in it. I could tell that the bolt was going thru on the right side but when I looked on the left side it looked as if it was not coming out so I tapped on the left side and seen the bolt and swing arm go in. At this point I stopped for night but will try again tomorrow.

Matt the swing arm is fairly flexible from side to side, I would bet that it will move almost a half inch without a lot of effort. It is the axle bolt and spacers that keep it rigid. It is not a bad idea to use a 4x4 block or something else behind the left side if your having to remove the axle bolt with a hammer. You also want to use a punch in the center of the axle and don't impact the axle threads as they are very soft and mushroom easy.
