You have to lock the primary to prevent the engine turn over when tightening the nut. There is a tool for it, or put the bike in first gear and have someone sit on it pressing the rear break would do as well. Here is a good video about the whole process:
Rear motor mount and swing arm
Getting ready to try to replace the rear motor mounts going to replace swingarm bearings and bushings while I have it off does anyone have a parts list of everything I will need and are the rear motor mounts the same part number. Also going to put the slipper clutch in I have the clutch but is there anything else I will need a new nut do I actually need the alignment tools and all that other stuff thanks very much in advance this is what I have so far
