Hey guys a got a question for those that have done this mod
There is a tab with a square holethat sticks down under where the light bar bolts on that looks like it’s part of the frame that stiffens the fender as seen in the pic
The question is : is my only option to cut this off ? I really appreciate any and all feed back peeps thanks a bunch

I actually removed that piece. I was surprised that it was a couple of bolts to remove it. I may have lost some support, but it doesn't seem to be an issue with my wife on the back.

It's the rear saddlbag bracket. The front hangs off of the upper shock nut.
