Venting... hoping others learn from my mistakes.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you're putting the lower airbox back on the bike, and you can't get that rear breather tube hose clamp to fit properly on the crank case breather hose with regular pliers, don't go to your local auto parts store, don't purchase a "screw-type" hose clamp that is slightly too large for this particular application, and most importantly, don't tighten it so tight that it eventually cuts through the rubber breather tube, thereby allowing oil to spray out all over, and destroy the breather tube, among other things.

:banghead:

Hose clamp pliers appropriate for this particular application will be in my hands within the next few days, as will a new breather tube from the local dealership and an OEM clamp.

D'oh.

A simpler solution is to remove the coolant reservoir (two grommets, comes right off) and then you can get at the damn thing.

I only realised that AFTER I had wasted half an hour, obviously.
