My brake light switch works for the signal, but it's leaking like crazy. I troubleshoot today, took exhaust pipes off, and discovered this. When I pump the rear brake pedal, the electrical contacts on the switch immediately become wet. Is it known problem?
Also, anyone knows the part number? I have 2008 VRSCAW. And the brake light switch looks like MCSLS4. Is this a right one?

Thank you, Knut! It is too close to exhaust pipes and all the heat! No wonder problem started in the summer time. Thank you for the part number. I'll keep the forum posted how replacement goes.

Today I installed a new brake light switch. Part number is SMP MCSLS4. It cost me $27 on ebay, made in Poland. It looks absolutely identical to the original one, and fits perfectly. Problem solved. Thank you @Knut J and @JJrod
