Hi I have a 2003 vrod I put new back brakes on and the bike sat all winter went to take it for a ride and the back breaks seized up and would not release I did get the bike home though so two questions one why did this happen to where can I find a rear brake caliper for a 2003 V-Rod thanks gary

You didn't mention how long it has sat up. I had some experience with older bikes where the o-ring seals when they age swell and get tighter. The master cylinder has enough pressure to force the pistons out but they're so tight that they're not able to retract.
Could just be you need a caliper rebuild rather than replacement. HD stills sells the seal kits for these early Kelsey Hayes calipers though not the later Brembo type.

There was a post years ago about brembo kits available from a Honda that work on the VRSC's

Where can I find Brembo caliper seals or get incontact...

I did manage to find a rebuild kit from Harley just haven't had the time to do it yet I'll keep everybody updated thanks for all your help
