I am new to the forum and new to Harleys. I bought this bike yesterday from a dealer, 07 night rod special, rode it home with no issues. Today when I got on the bike, I had lost rear brake pressure and had to pump the brake to get pressure built up again. Then it was fine. Any ideas? Do you think they just need to be bled? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a leak. With the bike being only a day old I would take it back and have them look at it.

Brake like switch could be leaking at the master cylinder. Friend has same model and had this occur.

I lost rear brakes on my '08 VRSAW last year, no leaks in the system, brake light switch was ok. Dealer bled the lines and found air in it. This "fix" worked for about the next 1500 miles. Ended up with no rear brakes again and then replaced the master cylinder to finally fix the problem.
