Hello.

I have just bought a used TSSM from another bike.
My original one got bad after a electric short cut in right handle.

However, I got hold of a "new" used one.
But when the shop was to change modules the "new" one it was locked to the old bike. I need to have a 5 figure PIN code to activate the TSSM.
The shop can not get the PIN code out from the connected computer.
The seller shold look if he found the code.

But, if the seller does not find the code, how can a get hold of if?
From the first dealer maybe?
Any other way to recode it?
Maybe a standard code works, if there is one.

Can anybody help me with this? :notworth:
It is a little bit urgent.
The bike is at the shop and would like to have all the help I can get a.s.a.p.

Thanks

Best Regards
Tommen

I don't think it's possible to unlock it without the code, you will probably have to buy a new one.
Probably others here know more about it.
If it's really urgent I suggest you call the HD Europe technical hotline.
Good luck.

I think default on my 2007 was 00000. You might want to try that or 12345. A H-D dealer may be able to reset it and it should take .5 labor to do.

:them: I've since changed the PIN, but it was "0000" when I took delivery

Thanks KenG and AOW for the quick reply.

I will contact my HD-shop tomorrow and give him your ideas.
Hopefully it works.

Thanks

The only way to unlock the TSSM is with the FOB or the PIN code. Even the Harley manuals say if you have lost the FOB and do not know the PIN code the only thing to do is purchase a new TSSM. The PIN code can not be retrieved from the device.

Seems to me someone mentioned that the default pin code was 11111. I checked mine when I purchased the bike, it was 77777.

Who is the seller? The European TSSM automatically arms so you are stuck without a fob or PIN (you can turn off automatic arming on the US items). If the seller in nearby and has a fob, you could sync your fob to it.
