I did search, nothing.
I'm looking for DIY Reverse Radiator Flush Instructions.

2009 Muscle, 18K Miles
Never has had the so called "permanent" coolant changed.
Fans are running more than usual.
Other than that the bike runs great!
Needs a clutch :-( Too hard on the downshifts.

8 years too late for a fluid change and now it's a rush . LOL.
Forget the reverse flush crap and think about one of these products.

Reason is by now due to lack of corrosion additives in the antifreeze there is most likely a coating all inside the engine, not just the rad itself.

Recommendations on coolant?
I just use the HD shit as I can't be bothered with a full system flush with distilled water to change brands. 2 year changes won't break the bank. Mixing some brands can cause gelling and that's not good. There will always be some residual left in the system without a full distilled water flush. Peak Global if you can find it. If the whole system is flushed really well, any aluminum friendly will be ok. Main thing to look for on the label is silicate, phosphate, nitrate and borate free. I don't recommend DEXCOOL, although some use it. By the premixed 50/50 brand. Saves the need to get de-ionized or distilled water should you buy full strength. Don't mix more then 50/50. This gives a good compromise between cooling and retaining corrosion protection for the recommended change interval.

2003 VROD - I had LongHorn HD in Grand Pairie, TX flush my radiator. After 50 miles, I notice it running hot with the check engine light on it. The radiator reserve was completely empty. I took it back and HD stated they did not burp it correctly and added some radiator fluid. Check engine light comes on when you start it, but it goes out.
Longhorn states a rock must have hit the radiator and I need a new radiator.

Any thoughts?

The radiator has a shield in front of it. How could a rock hit it. Find a new dealer.

I'd flush it it good with distilled water and an additive like mentioned -EZ
Peak Global lifetime -same as HD.
I add water wetter to help cooling a little and extra anti-corrosive action.
In winter storage i loosen the upper air screw a little and leave some rags under it so in cold snaps a little trickles out and you don't blow a hose under pressure....
that's just my 2 cts

If the radiator has an obvious leak, I would replace it.

What does anyone think about switching over to the ICE instead of coolant?
Not me. I'm more of a fan to use the correct coolant spec'd and make two year changes to keep corrosion at bay. That's more important then fancy ass high priced coolants, that also should be dumped at a certain time frame. Corrosion inhibitors decay in all of them over time.

Probably very negligible I admit...but this year was 1st time I added a good amount of
WW additive and subjectively it seems like a tad cooler running and little less fan action.

this is my 1st season w/powervision installed running display gauges including engine temp (actually coolant temp) which is very cool.
~75 -80 degrees outside running hard i bounce around 187-190 degrees until i get stuck in traffic on a sunny hot street.

at some point ill check the triple sprocket bolt (seems fine) and replace the WP gasket,
that's a good plan, no?
