I went back to the track today and had my best run ever... Still working on my reaction times. Not sure what they call it but anything faster than a .50 reaction time fouls. I ended up winning the bracket race.

I was very pleased with myself. This is a completely stock intake, cams and motor, CFR Pipe, Race Tuner, Pingel Electric shifter w/kill box and I made it into the 6's. I am going buy some leather pants so I can run the 1/4 next week.

Ran the BadRod at Moroso Friday night. It was a zoo and we only got 3 runs all night. Aaron, my local rider, hadn't ridden it in quite a while and the first run was the result of him getting used to the bike and a big wheelie. The second run was interesting because the guy who ran next to us was on a self proclaimed “souped up Hayabusa”. He was very upset when he lost to a Harley. The third run came together well with the 9.95. All runs are with the daily street set-up, running pump gas and no nitrous. Jeff

So Jeff - when are you going to take that thing for a run - you are missing all of the fun with other pilots playing with your toy...... Kevin

Kaz - You are right it is all in the sixty - I figure that you get 1.65 on the top end for every 1.0 on the bottom end. I walked it into the tens on progressive runs with more aggressive launches with an 11.04, 11.03, 11.01 then the 10.94 - As I recall 60s went from 1.67s to the 1.60. increasing launch revs (5,500 or so) and more aggressive hits on the throttle as I got comfortable with the track. Final pass I also kicked up the shift points to 8875RPM w/rev limiter set at 9,400. Tire presseure was probably around 26 PSI as it was preety cool - around 50 degrees. They had really treated the track so traction was at a premium, winds were mild cross. I never measure tire temp so I do not know - moderate burn outs. It was a wild event - glad to be home safe and sound and it was a great way to end the season..... Thanks for the kind remarks Leadfoot and Eric. Kevin

Thanks Mike.......1 to go for the final goal - 10.84 - but no hurry - 58MM throttle body and a good dyno session - and worse case a bit of a diet and we should be there.
