$1215 + shipping $110

I can't say exactly how much power it would add in your kit.

I machined a second edition of plenum velocity stacks.
They are 3mm shorter and 14 mm narow than the original ones.
Will go to a flow bench to test is the modification effecting something or not.

Just looking at that plenum again makes me want a turbo, just so I can use that plenum. It's a complete work of art.

Thought I'd spend an hour to clean up the turbine side of my turbo ( 30 minutes with rotary file & 30 minutes with sanding rolls & polishing buffer). I first ported the portion coming in from the exhaust pipe. Only slight miss match here, maybe 1/16" on three sides. There were a couple large castings on the outlet side I smoothed & generally took out all the casting flaws. On the exit I spent some time to polish the walls and D shape the outlet to turn the gas into the pipe. If I was going to race this I'd put in a 1 to 1 1/2" spacer between the exhaust pipe & turbo base to smooth out the airflow even more. For the street it just moves it closer to my leg, so that idea is out without having to fabricate a different outlet pipe from the turbo back. Hope this gives you some ideas.

I was fortunate enough to get one of Kazza's and Muckle's plenums and I can say that this plenum is one of the best engineered pieces I've ever seen anyone make.

Comparing it to one that was supplied with my initial turbo kit would be an insult to the plenum itself. My bike wasnt removed from the dyno or changed in any way except the plenum and the cold side pipe to suit and it made more power before it even started coming on boost, it in turn came on boost harder and faster to the point i had to re program the boost controller before i could do a power run. On a pound less boost it matched the peak power of original plenum. at same boost it made 12 rwhp more.

Very impressed with it.

Saw this today on Yellowbullet from Pete Brown, Harley Drag racer about plenums on Vtwins; As long as you have a plenum volume of at least 3 times of one cylinder the cylinders fill equally on a conventional 45 degree HD engine. We've been [email protected] with a 120" engine on gasoline so trust me boost works just fine on the old HD engine. The vrod engine would be more efficient IMO tho.

Does anyone have a plenum for sale? Was planning on fabricating one but I got deployed and coming back to a baby girl so time has become a little more limited lol
I have fabricated one cut on a water jet and have the pieces for a second one as well as the CAD drawings to cut more. What are you wanting to put it on? building a box is the easy part, getting the internal design right to maximize power is the hard part as well as plumbing it to your system, as there is not a whole lot of open realestate on these bikes to run piping.

Karzza,

Did you flow test the shorter fluts?
