The guy with the orange V-Rod spends over $2000 (installed) for air ride shocks and does not have the sense to turn the ugly bar code to the inside

problem with most of the show bikes is that they are not every day rides. to much bondo for the frames to take the vibrations from those large engines. Just the facts mama

that orange and green bike just isn't working for me...

neither is the first bike... nice application of helicoptor bearings though.

maybe I'm just becoming jaded to custom bikes... it's starting to seem like you've seen one, you've seen them all now... I like riding :D

Guess I'll go see it on the 17th when it's in Sacramento.

Maybe I can armwrestle Arnold while I'm up there.

Bondo? And just where do you think the bondo is on a custom frame? And what "facts" are you talking about?

I'm starting to think the whole custom bike scene, at least to anyone who's been around it for a while, has jumped the shark.

As the designs get more radical to stand out, they are looking pretty ugly...

I think I'm starting to lean more towards something like this:

Baker 6-Speed
Buell Lightning front end
Ohlins rear shocks
Lots of spare parts.

The owner is a mechanic at an H-D dealer in SF.
