Okay boys and girls....just came back.....

$1040 will get you the COMPLETE kit with a pair of 10oz POLISHED bottles, all the solenoids, fuel pump, filters, hardware, jets, blah blah that are required for a complete installation on a VRod including the TPS module (direct plug-n-play) and the fitting to tap into the factory fuel tank for the system's fuel supply. Jets included will net 20,30, or 50hp shot.
Call Pingel at 1-888-4-PINGEL and request the VRodforums/Cycle Connection nitrous kit and they will fix you up. Thanx to Donna Pingel for caring enough about the VRodders to put together this kit for us and for supporting Project V and Cycle Connection H-D !

yeah, it's pretty cut and dried.....hardest part I think is finding small areas to mount the pump, etc......If the shadetree mechanic DOES run into any problems, they should get on here and ask before assuming anything though.

There sure was a bunch of interest in the nitrous kits a couple of weeks ago. I am suprised nobody has purchased on of these yet, or has somebody? If so please post your thoughts of it.

Thanks,
Steve

I think most folks are waiting to see if HUDSS gets the mounting bracket issue resolved.

Issue has been resolved. I'm having the clamps machined to fit the frame. There is enough space to expand the hole. I asked around and it seems most have N2O users have gone this route.

I have some other parts currently at the chromer, so I am waiting for those parts to return and bang out all my winter mods in one shot. I should have pics within 2-3 weeks.

fyi, I didn't get a response from V-mod if they would sell their brackets separately.

Do show bottles please!

The clamps on Project V were machined versions as well...worked flawlessly.....Hope the folks at Pingel treated you well....Donna (owner) is really wanting to support us anyway she can.

OK...I'm getting a bit older and it takes me a while to catch on. If I understand correctly the "Complete kit" for $1040 includes everything.....except the mounting hardware? I thought he first post indicated it included everything. I am most likely going to order but don't want any suprises (additional parts I need to run down) when doing the install. So if I bought the kit I need to round up mounting hardware for the bottles......is that correct?

Thanks,
Steve

It has mounting hardware, but they do not fit the V-Rod frame. They have to be machined to make the mounting hole larger. I beleive they are working on having the brackets modded themselves, which is what I was waiting to hear but no ETA on turn around time. My local dealer can have it done within 48 hours. I'm just too anxious to wait.

This average kit costs about 1400.00+, so spending a few extra dollars to mod the brackets myself is worth it.

V-mod has a clever bracket (see pic), but I didn't receive a response about purchasing.

Is the kit $1,400 or $1040 as noted in the original post?

Thanks for the explanation regarding the mounting brackets. Have you recieved your kit yet?

It's 1040, I meant other places are selling the same type of kit for 1400 plus.
I just ordered this week, it should arrive mid next week.
