I’ve recently fitted complete performance machine front controls to my 2012+ Nightrod, including the brake light switch and clutch safety switch.

Both switches looked identical so I didn’t take any notice if they switched differently.

After fitting everything up, including wiring through the bars etc I was testing all the switch gear and realise that the brake light was staying on when the brake lever was released and would go out when squeezed.
After some digging around I found that the clutch and brake switch work opposite.
Of course Murphy’s law dictated that I had fitted them incorrectly.
PITA removing the switches with wiring, so I just kept the wiring in place and desoldered the switches, swapped them around and soldered everything back up.

Thought I would post this to save anyone else the headache!
