Been busy with a few other projects, (e.g. https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=174473 ) but I'm still around.

I no longer sell the full kit. I only sell the software. However it's pretty easy to configure a kit DIY style.

You'll need an Android device, the Portable Dashboard app, a bluetooth enabled scantool, and a pigtail that connects the scantool to your bike's data link port. You'll be able to put the entire system together for < $50. (not including the Android device)

You can download Portable Dashboard from here...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.portabledashboard.pdash

You will need a OBD2 compliant, bluetooth enabled, scantool to communicate with your motorcycle's ECM.
I use this one... (Last time I checked it was only $11.65!)

But there are many others.

You will also need to make a cable to connect the scantool to the motorcycles DataLink connector.
Here is the How-to...
http://users.eastlink.ca/~reastwood/MobileDisplay/HowTo.html#Assembling the Datalink Cable

Once you have these components, you can try it out on your bike. The application is fully functional.
The only difference between the demo and the licensed version is that after 10 minutes the demo version's display will stop updating. You can restart the app and you will get another 10 minutes.
If everything works and you are happy with it, you can purchase a license for $30. In this way you can fully "try before you buy".

Thanks for your continued interest.

Bob:

The last link does not work.

How do you connect the OBD2 Scantool to the SERT cable?

Thank you very much.

I Guess Im Late to the party. is the dash app still available. I click the link for google play and it says that it is not available in my country. anybody know how i can get it.

I would like to use it for the TPS/RPM real time map for TTS

TIA John

I clicked the link on my laptop and hit the installed button. it then asked which device and picked my phone and it then installed it there.

I've been looking for it too. The best thing I've found is HarleyDroid (free) and "RPM It Up" ($9.99) on Google Play. I found the following information when I Googled it...

http://www.appbrain.com/app/portable-dashboard/com.portabledashboard.pdash

And Beastwood's site. There's a link to the APK there, but it's dead. He hasn't posted here since 2014.

This appears to be the new "Pdash" from Beastwood and Codare Software Systems

UPDATE:

Ok, I found three links to manually download the Portable Dash APK, but there's a hitch or two. The first link is for version 1.4.2 (as near as I can tell 1.4.3 was the most recent). The second link has a QR Code for the download link - you'll need a barcode/qr code scanner on your phone to follow the link. I couldn't use it because I can't get my phone's barcode scanner to work for some reason. so I don't know where it goes. The third link is for an Asian website and you'll end up downloading an Asian app store app that will take you directly to the download page for pdash 1.4.3 when you open it. I scanned the app store app and pdash before installing and using them and they APPEAR safe - I'll leave that up to whoever wants to try it.

First link (pdash 1.4.2):

Second link (QR code):
https://apk-files.org/apk/com.portabledashboard.pdash/#download

Third link (Asian App Store):

Thanks Stran8n. i have found 1.4.2 but when i installed the apk on my nexus 7 it give me an error stated that it can't be installed.

I have emailed beast wood via the link on the twin view app page but i have not received a reply back. i can install twin view but it crashes when loading the app.

I will try 1.4.3 that i downloaded from the asian site. I am just looking for the real time RPM/TPS mapping option. It would help greatly when tuning with TTS mastertune. Ill Post my findings with 1.4.3. Thanks again.

Any time, JohnnyT. The Asian one works for sure. I can run the app and it will connect to my bluetooth OBDII module connected to an adapter cable for my DX. I haven't tried the functionality, yet. My scoots down for a couple weeks while I do my Road Glide fairing conversion. I'm putting in a double din touch screen stereo with Android 5.1.1 on it which is why I was looking for pdash. I can't wait to get it all together!
