Question on painting skins? Do you have to strip the anodized surface to prepare for painting?

No lightly sand it with scotch brite, then there is additive they spray on it so the paint will adhere.

Nope. I had my 2002 painted in August of 2002. They were sanded, roughed up, then shot with an etching primer. Have had absolutely no problems with paint or finish.
