Not sure if anyone has done this kind of drag peg yet but if not here is goes.

All parts used

1) used my stock pegs
2) stock forward control mounts (i replaced them w/ flipped reduced reach mounts.
3) older upper shock bolts.
4) My brother owns a machine shop

my cost 0$

What do you guys think, will they work?

sorry for poor pict quality

I tried this a few years ago, found the position to be less than what what I wanted... but short length of leg could be a factor in mine not working well?

Do you spose I need to do this to my turbo rod? :) I already got the shifter thingy :) To the OP, nice mod... How much did your brother have to face off the pulley?

Note: We faced off the pulley for looks only, it has nothing to do with the pegs. I just wanted the bare aluminum look not the power coat look.

I've been running my '05B with the exact same setup since '05, with one exception. I actually turn down and thread the whole peg mount and don't use a seperate bolt. Works great! I made a few sets for others as well.

Wouldn't that make the bike wheelie-prone?
if you haven't pulled the front tire by the time your feet are on the pegs then you probably won't.

Hey Jessee
You look like your getting pretty serious about this drag racing stuff....nos,pegs, and whatever else you have Up your sleeve. You wouldn't happen to be targeting a yellow turbo on the track would ya? I think he is starting to shake in his boots already :D
