Oil pickup

Do you guy's let your bikes idle on the jiffy stand is the oil pickup low enough in the crankcase or on the left side that it doesn't matter. Any other problems with letting your bike idle on the jiffy stand. :stupid:

runit1971 your oil pickup is well below the oil level even on the jiffy stand. The pickup tube sits on the very bottom of the pan and would take a lot to get it out of oil short of laying the bike over.

Remember when your riding you lay the bike over at a steeper angle turning then when it's on the jiffy stand. H-D had to allow for this in the design of the oil pickup assembly.
