Although I have not tried that particular product, I have used many other Liqui Moly products (car engine oil, fork oil, etc.) and have always been happy with them. Made in Germany and as a general rule German products do seem to be good.
Yes many of the air head guys have been using it for years, as in the early version, non JASO rated with great results. Cooler running and the usual claims. Just discovered they have this JASO rated now, which is what got me curious. Agree, it has to be good oil. Need to dig into the additive package a bit more to get a better comparison. Mobil 1 and Amsoil have dropped their zddp levels over the years. Not as good as it use to be. I think from 1200ppm ish , down to 900 ish.

Parts guy Ted, good guy, from North Tonawanda, NY's American Harley-Davidson is a V-Rodder. They don't actually sell this there but he recommended it as an additive, based on metallurgy of our engines. Anyone have experience with it? I do my regular oil changes with Amsoil.

I'm sure you know most of this but for some of the other readers, my thoughts on it. Additives have their place, sometimes. I'm a firm believer a good oil should have enough zddp. You can have too much at some point also. 12-1400ppm is about right. 2000ppm a corrosion issue could develop on components. It's brutal on O2 sensors at that point as well. As for the additive, if using a decent MC oil, it shouldn't be needed. For the flat tappet cams it was which is what the additive is for, why not just use Valvoline VR1 or oils rated for flat tappet use rather then the need to be a chemist? Funny thing about ZDDP or zinc as we call it is, it will do nothing until there's enough friction heat present for it to actually bond as a last ditch sacrificial layer between metal to metal contact.
