Does anyone else experience finding oil in the airbox (inside the filter area)? I don't mean massive amounts, just residue. I guess it is blow by. I don't overfill the oil and I am wondering if I should use slightly less oil. I keep the level at the full line or less.

I find the oil in the airbox after a hard day of cruising at 75-80MPH average with peaks of 100 MPH.

you know, Mark, I had it before I got the custom map done for my setup, when my bike was running rich. Clean and tidy in there now.

I found a little "misting" the second time I set up my "topless" scenario. I'll have to look again...

Both my 03 and 02 have small amounts of oil at the throttle bodies. If you run the bike hard at all it is normal to have a small amount of gases escape past the rings into the crank case and from there it has to vent at the throttle body. Since the engine has no PVC valve it the vent at the throttle body is simply were all excess gases get pushed back into the engine to be burned.
