Hey guys, I got tired of looking at the plain ol' belt guards that I decided to drill holes in them...No cost mod, assuming you already have a 3/4 and 1/2 inch bits..I used a step drill bit to make the holes. I've seen some that have stripped the paint, but since my bike is black I just kept it as it is. Here's some pics:

To be honest I got the idea from looking at the Nightster pictures and reading about it in the mag...Then after I was done modding it, I realized that a lot of people have done theirs...there's still a sense of uniqueness in each end results tho...sorta make the bike "your own".
Having said that I do believe that "great minds think alike" dont you agree?:)

knightenforcer: Good work. However, I feel that if you paint the exposed aluminum edges in the holes on the top guard it will look better, and match the lower plastic one.
