Hi.

Just wanting to know if a nightrod or nightrod special exhaust system will fit on an 07 vrod,

I just like the look if the newer vrod systems

There were 2 Vrod models in 07. Nightrod and nightrod special.

So you must have a AW model? Or street rod? What is the model of the 07? What is the year of the Nightrod?

Sorry Guys, yes i have the AW model, ive just got the bike, and the pipes are a bit ordinary, theres plenty of nightrod special pipes from later model vrods for sale, i like the look of them , seems like a cheap tidy up option .

If the OP has a Street Rod, the Dx mufflers are all that is needed.

The "third member" is the same on the "R" and later models.

They fit,even if they're shortened. (and gutted.) :angeldev:

Ooops ! I see you posted that you have an AW. :hidesbeh:
In that case more would be needed to try to do the swap. I'd guess at minimum you'd need newer style head pipes, third member as well as the mufflers. Brackets MIGHT be necessary as well.

Ideally I'd like to replace my std AW system with a complete nightrod special system.

The only thing that might be different is the muffler brackets

We put a full 2014 nrs exhaust on my dads ‘04 vrsca. Needed the ‘14 exhaust gaskets, the nrs support brace, we drilled a new mounting hole in that brace, and made a simple second support for the top of the exhaust. Looks great and hasn’t given him any problems at all.
