Night rod rear end on a 2003 VRSCA conversion

Has anyone made this conversion? I just bought the 03 VRSCA and the guy included a later model swing arm, wheel and tire with sprocket/rotor and axle that he got from a buddy that did a trike conversion. What is involved with this conversion s far as additional parts needed, etc... and the way it was accomplished. Thanks in advance for the help.
