i have just installed a thundermax auto tune on my 08 vcaw with a bassani 2 into 1 short meg exhaust, and i cant get it to start. the firmware wont upload to the newest version saying that its not compatible but i should be.any info would be helpful thanks:chainsaw:

After you load a new map, you need to run the 30 second on & off cycle without touching the throttle or starting the motor 3 or 4 times. Sometimes you also want to run the IAC setup when you first start the motor. I my case, every foul up I blamed on the ECM was my fault for not following instructions exactly. This is the reason that Big Dog, Indian , etc does not give the access code to the Tmax unit to their customers ( it is the exact same unit), people don't read the instructions. These are really advanced pieces of electronics guys.

Wait until it completes the auto tune after about 400 -500 miles.
