Hey everyone.
I finally moded my '12 muscle yesterday.
I am running strapless, flipped my exhaust caps down, and drilled my exhaust holes. I did 8mm holes, and the bike seems to run the same but sounds much better.
I'll post sound tonight.

Awesome start. Id suggest the RJ's headlight mod. And soon enough you'll want slipons and a tune. Haha

Looking forward to hearing it. If you have a "before" sound, I'd love to hear that as well. Not that I don't know what a stock F sounds like, but it will help with figuring out what the difference is with the audio quality.

Slo,chat is RJ's headlight mod? Got a link?

I used the same kind of guillotine splicer that Jeff (boofwah) used. Super simple, just a couple bucks at O'Reilly's. Check out the 5th photo in this thread; it will show you exactly...

Here's another one using a posi-tap... http://www.1130cc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157557

Either way, you're just jumping the yellow and blue wires together under the front left side cover. But as RJ points out this mod will not work with the HD Garage Door Opener, FYI.

I prefer the posi-taps when ever I need to splice into another wire. Also use them for connectors as well since they have weather proof ones out now too.

the RJ mod is usually used when switching to HID lighting to prevent blackout when switching between high and low as it takes a moment for the HID's to come up to power
