I am from southeast Missouri where other vrodder's are few and far between. I have had my '03 since early august. My wife and I love our vrod and ride every chance we get. There are alot of riders in this area but not very many of them have had this experience. It's easy to tell from the stares, the oohs and ahs and all the questions we get about the bike. Glad to be a part of this.

VRODBCD,

I understand about the stares and the ooh and ahs. It seems like I live in the land of FatBoys and Road Kings. It is very rare that I do not get any questions or comments about my V-Rod.

I remember when I had just gotten mine, and I was stopped at a light. A guy yelled across 4 lanes to ask me if it was a V-Rod and say how cool it was. I love riding a HD that isn't the same as everyone elses...

welcome, vrodbcd!

Bry, I just got one of those tonite. Some hunters in a pickup truck came up beside me and gave me the thumbs up and big grins after ignoring my husband on his Road King. Kinda fun, but I got grins and waves last weekend on the Fatboy, too. People talk to me more often on the v-rod, tho.

Welcome mate. You will get comments that is for sure. I was staying at a hotel up the Sunshine Coast a few weeks back and parked it on the driveway for a while one afternoon because I like to avoid oily carparks when I can, well all the porters, the Doorman, the girls from the front desk and any guest coming or going had a gawk at it at some stage. Couple people even saw the discovery channel documentary so they were really interested. Took me 10 minutes to leave it and 15 to ride off!

I was in Carmel, CA last weekend, and the same thing happened to me. I was running a few errands at a few different shops and happened to see a crowd of people around my bike as I was going from one shop to the next. I went over to talk to them, and they were all extremely impressed! They were all about 50-60 years old and had "always loved Harleys", but they said that this was absolutely awesome!!

Welcome to the forum...you'll find it extremely addictive and informative...a bunch of good folks here!!

Val,

Afriend of mine got pulled over on her Ducati Monster 630 for two reasons. 1) he wanted to see the bike up close, and 2) he couldn't believe that a 'chick' was riding it!

Never sell short the power of a woman on a bike!!
