Manchester, New Hampshire (the State with the largest per capita motorcycle ownership!)

The destination is really an invitation to all of you fellow V-Rodders, to visit for the 3rd largest and one of the oldest motorcycle rallies in the US:

Laconia Bike Week 2004

Come on up for this event June 12 through the 20th, you will get a warm welcome from all New Englanders who have embraced bike riders with respect. I will keep you all posted on events. It would be great to have a few organized V-Rod Forum rides, so I will post a few get-togethers for that week.

Come on up to Weirs Beech, ride our White Mountains, enjoy the smooth twisty 2 laners, AMA racing and the camaraderie of HD riders, sport bikers and your fellow V-Rodders. Stay tuned...

Wherever the road takes me! The NH area is great riding! Plan on meeting Orest sometime during the Lacoinia event. It would be cool to meet other VRod owners there as well!!

Southwest corner of New Hampshire. Lots of bikes & great riding here, but a short season too. Not very many registered here for the New England Registry! Have ridden as far North as Nova Scotia, & as far South as West Virginia, but on previous bikes.

Just picked up a 2003 with the White Ghost color scheme. I've been without a bike for about 10 years, was looking around and jumped at a good deal on the VROD.

Can't wait for the weather to clear, so I can really take it for a ride!

David : 2003 V-rod (annodized)

Oxford, MA

Haven't been north much, but have some nice rides through CT. Planning on Laconia for at least a weekend day this year, and will certainly be doing some riding up into Vermont this season.

Hi DCLittlejohn: Riding in VT is great. Be sure to travel Rt 100 as it is motorcycle heaven. Then take 17 which is a mountain pass connector between Rt 100 & I think almost to Rt 7 which connects Rutland to Burlington. Many great switchbacks & views for 10-15 miles & you will see many other motorcycles enjoying the same route.

I'm from south western corner of New Hampshire, (Keene area). Have driven the V-Rod a couple of times down to Newtown CT to visit my Dad & Andover/Glastonbury CT area to visit one of my daughters. Great riding up here in the northern areas. Less traffic than in CT & some of MA.

Consider driving up to Americade in Lake George NY in early June. It is always the week prior to the Laconia NH event. The ride from here to Americade is fantastic. Find your way to Manchester VT then travel Rt 30 West to Lake George. You won't be sorry.

New Owner

Just a note to say hi and introduce myself. I have dreamed of a v-rod since I first saw one while buying my 2002 sporster. Well I did it this year (Got a 2003 left over with lots of extras) and it's mine until the repo-man takes it away! I live in South Hampton, NH and look forward to seeing everyone in Laconia if not sooner. :hyper:

Northwestern Maine heah, up in the mountains where the air is cool and the running is hot. Bought a '03 holdover this spring to replace a 30 year old Z1 that I rode for 30 years. These V-Rods are the first HD's to ever turn my head and I'm glad I switched! I'm headed for Laconia on for a four day weekend and will be looking for rods and broads.

Bryant here...........
Had my Rod for about a year - absolutely love it.
Live in Boston's Hyde Park area.
I love to ride all over (when I can). I've riden to Foxwoods casino several times and to Conway NH. Both directions were a blast, not because of the roads but because of our machine..........

Would love to participate in a meet and great V Rod run in the future..
