Hey New England area folks!!

Anyone interested in going to New England Dragway on Friday afternoon/evening...... this will be a Street Night's event.

I'll be there, improving my skills, in particular: Reaction Times.

It would be great to see some of you southern NH/ME folks who are near by, and any one else interested in just going to see what’s happening.

Noel

The results of the nights runs..

This nights goal was to get the launch going smoother, and RT's under 1 second!

The Shift Light definately helped my stay out of the rev limiter, the launches are getting better (no Stalls), but I gotta put more RPM's on the starting line.

I Met up with Dave Lambert who is riding a Destroyer for Lee Custom Cycles, his best has been in the 9.30's last night he was running 9.6's, My nephew & buddy Bill were picking his brain about the Destroyer.

ROUND------1-----------2-------------3
r/t---------.591--------.679--------.787
60'-------2.174-------2.133-------2.025
330'------5.420-------5.239-------5.141
1/8-------8.041-------7.809-------7.735
mph------93.41-------95.13-------94.22
1000----10.344------10.078------10.020
1/4------12.339------12.041------11.990
mph-----112.27------113.77------113.73

Damn, wish I knew about this earlier, only 15 mins away from there.
Sorry ya did not see the post earlier, I probably will not be making any more trips to the track this season, but, I'll give you a heads up PM when I do next spring.

funny. your reaction times got slower, but the rest of the times got better culminating in a sub-12 second 1/4. good stuff.
Thanks,

I was pushing the launch RPM's higher up, (manually no Two Step), to get a smoother launch off the line.

My concentration on the tree was not as sharp as I would have liked, but still a massive improvement over my May 2007 runs.

I may be making another visit to Epping in Sept or Oct, but I will not be on my V.

Bill (The Coach) has a Kawasaki inline 4 with 1250ish cc in a custom built frame, wheelie bar, this rig turns 9.60's with him, a lite & expert racer.

Bill thinks I will probably get her going in the 12's or 11's, comparable to my V but handling is a whole different issue.

I actually want to experience it with the wheelie bar, So I might do better than anticipated, if so, it's possible I may apply for my IHRA license. Planning for the future. :broke:

Any how, subject to us getting this bike ready, and other domestic issues, work, business travel, I hope we will be able to make the trip. :D
