Just bought my first bike two days ago, an 08 DX. I have to say I'm in love. Always watched from a far, but not anymore. I have a lot to learn and will be riding/reading and using the search button a lot.

Congrats...Seriously though, take your time learning to ride it and check into an MSF course. I love motorcycles, but I've got a lot of friends with more balls than brains who thught they could ride a bike just because they could drive a car. Luckily, no one close to me has ever been hurt on a bike, but my buddies didn't stick with ridding because they moved to fast and never got comfortable with their ability.

Highly suggest the MSF course if you have not done so already. No need to lose the DX due to lack of training.
Personal opinion, this is not a "FIRST BIKE" but good luck.
