BobT, check the actual clearence between your pulley and the guard too. I've seen some pulleys scraped up really bad because the belt guards rubbed on them. Steve.
I had the chrome guards on my bike but I customized the original and put it back on. I'm thinking the only thing that was different was that the Chrome upper guard had the rear mounting nut tack welded to it instead of being a seperate part. Steve.
