on the stems (right sided one is worst) after I dropped the bike (and myself with it) a year ago. I do not want to buy new mirrors as I am in firm belief that what ain't broken don't fix it(laziness and financial strain play a significant part of my beliefs). :)
The question- is there any quick fix for the rust (apart of changing them) I want to keep my signals on handlebars and I don't want to relocate them. If it can't be fixed how much they are (stock mirrors)as second hand?
I won't be able to respond to my thread as I am leaving for the party on the other site of the hill and knowing myself I will be out of circulation for the next 24 hours afterwords.
I will be back as soon I will see just one motherboard.
Regards, George

Remove mirror from bike.
Use metal polish of choice to remove rust and restore shine. (This may conflict with laziness...but it's cheap.)
Spray on a clear coat.
Reinstall mirrors.
