Can someone let me know which gasket I should use? 2009 Muscle P/N 64971-09 Vs 2007 VRSCAW P/N 65109-01.
Both use the same flange P/N 65102-01 and retaining ring P/N 65045-01 so why the gasket difference?

The correct VRSC exhaust gaskets (as mentioned above) are P/N 65109-01 (used from 2002 through 2008) or 64971-09 (for the 2009 and newer VRSC exhaust).

The thing that changed is the shape of the port end of the exhaust primary pipes (engine exhaust port is the same on all VRSC engines). Most aftermarket exhausts use the early VRSC exhaust shape so the 65109-01 gaskets are needed.
