I can attempt to make it to the bike show(as a spectator). If you are showing your scoot , I can give stopping by a try.
I am trying to trade a day with another guy for Saturday night.Do not know if it will fly.
I tried for the Lailbait ride and that fell through. Guys giving up weekend days off are hard to come by.I will keep looing back to see your reply.

I will probably be there all day. I registered today at Hal's. I will get there around 10am and stay until The Fabulous Thunderbirds are done. Ain't that tough enough....I hope to see all of you there. Todd let me know if you want to ride up there. Bob, good luck getting the day off. Let me know!

She left me for some dancer boy. I am heartbroken.
On a better note , I have Saturday night off.
So after work Thursday until work Friday I will be lurking the MKE area.
Then Saturday a.m. I will probably crash for a few hours and be out and about
for the rest of the weekend.
I never got the wristband, The computer system would not process me.
I called the number and ,of course, the guy at that extention says there is no problem.
I guess I pay an extra 5 bucks now.I guess I will survive...
Let us keep up on this as I will probably never get to go to any of the big V-Rod shin-digs down south for the next couple years.

And don't everyone forget, there is another upcoming event in West Bend ,WI
I do not have the specifics though(in front of me).

I already called Trent and found out he is right around the corner from where I will be staying. I hope more people from the site can make it so we can meet up and ride in together. My cell number is 706 267-2267.
See ya'll there.

swamp thing! Cool name, cool bike. I'll look for you. I'm actually going on a family vacation...yes, I'm a family man. Minivan with a Harley Sticker, and a Harley in tow. LOL. So this is afamily vacation where I hope to do some biking, which makes it tough to plan a ride. I'll also be out of touch from the forum because I hit the road today. I hope to see you guys there! I also plan to ride to EAA in Oshkosh. That should be cool. Bikes and planes, and beer and brats, and frozen custard. Plus my wife and kids. Yeeha! Also looking forward to riding to Daytona for Bikeoberfest. So start thinking about that too!

Trent,
I hope you got Dave's number because I think I am going to the EAA fly-in also. Maybe we could do a ride together there also.
I will be on the road and away from the forum Tuesday afternoon so call my cell after that. See ya'll real soon and ready to do Miller tour again for about the 10th time. Got to take the girlfriend.

Dave-04,
Bring your HOG card to the EAA.
It is a Harley pin stop each year. Look for the H-D site and show that card.
I will be heading to MKE Thursday a.m. to work.
I will leave Butler,USA at 3:30 and fight the traffic to The state fair grounds(if it is not pouring rain) and get signed in and get my wristband.
Then I will start lurkingabout.
I work Friday at 11 P.M. until 7a.m. Go to rest in West Allis(as in Chalmers) then I am off for the rest of the weekend...
I will not have computer access down in MKE as my 70+ year old parents are not
"online" people. So whatever info I get will happen by 9:00 tonight.

I met Todd (AKA Tmvick) and his girl today. Good guy, cool bike. I love the sound of his Todd Modded pipes. I will probably have to mod mine, or have them V-modded. Todd and I met at Hal's Harley shop. Hal's had a custom kit built Vrod touring bike. I will post pics later.
Next we rode to the Hd facility. but were too late to take the tour. Todd was on his way to River fest so I went from HD to the rally. Lot's of bikes, but I left before things got hopping with the night life. I'm sure it will get revved up big time tomorrow night. I only saw one Vrod at the rally, but I saw 4 in the HD employee parking lot the other day.
Bob, thanks for the info about EAA, I'm going tomorrow. Tomorrow night I hope to be back at the rally.

I was around Saturday afternoon at the bike show.
Saw one V-Rod with a custom paint job in the show. Lots of nice mods on the bike.
I think I saw the owner and his female counterpart walking away from the bike .
Did see a few bikes roll in at about 2:00(IL plates - one was a V-Rod , but I lost them as they drove right by and kept on going up the aisle.
Had a couple beers and left at 3:00 from the fairpark. Went up to Hal's and seen a gal fall/tip over on a Sportster. I had to stop and help her as she was alone. She was ok , and after about a half hour of shootin' the breeze, took off for Suburban H-D. Got up there and thought I would try to find Mainstreet Cycles new place .......No Go on that one, Just wasted time.
Headed back toward MKE and caught the tail end of the Bikini contest(lots of tail-end there too-no pics though...sorry)Bought a Broken Spoke Shirt and off I went. Did not meet anyone from the forum, But did sort of decide that I may trade /sell either one or both of my bikes and get some new stuff to play with. I like that new Springer .
Only time will tell.
Wish it was about 15 degrees warmer, but at least it did not rain much(a drizzle here and there).
Hard to justify wasting vacation days on stuff like this(I work weekends) .
Maybe next year.

Mainstreet is anything but! I've been there twice. It is in cedarburg, off the main drag, at a bend in the road, and if I had't had my GPS I would have missed it. They are building a customer area (again) and it should be nice, if they ever get around to it. Too busy modding pipes I guess. They had quite a pile of muffler innards in the shop.
They are always the gracious hosts, however.

Sorry guys, I wish I could have met all who attended. The rally was a bust and a waste of money for me because I never made it back on my multiday pass after Thursday. :-( On the other hand, I had a great time at EAA which was sponsered in part for the first time by HD. Bob's HD of Fondulac had a tent, and had a 2005 VRod painted like a P40 Warhawk. I've got pics, and promise to post them when I get a little less busy.

Great time!

Sorry I missed you guys. I did get to see Todd and his girlfriend, Jennifer. It was great hanging out with you guys. Bob, that was my bike in the show but with my new seat. Dave, sorry I didn't get to meet you and your family. I think my four kids might have drove Todd back to Atlanta.

4 Kids (funny, 4, and $ occupy the same key on a keyboard.), you got me beat, I have 3. You entered your bike in a show right? Have pics? How did you do?

Really sorry I missed you. Its tough combining family vacations Bike Rallies. I couldn't steal away enough time to get there again and I spent the rest of my time in other parts of the state. I may have seenTodd and Jen rinding in the country side of Waukesha county. I was out joy riding and passed a v-rod rider with no helmet (Ride FREE Todd) - Todd was going without a helmet when we rode to HD) and a women rider following. Could have been Todd. I haven't seen him post since the trip. Hope all is well.
