Doing my 10K Oil change today. When I pulled the drain plug, I found 2 slivers of metal on the magnetic tip of the drain plug along with sme smaller debry. They were good sized. I have not noticed debry this large on my previous oil changes at 1K,5K,6.2K, and
7.5K. Motor runs fine and uses no oil not antifreeze. I have been have down shifting issue though when in higher gear. Going to cut open the filter and see if there are more metal shavings in there.

If they stuck to the magnet that means they aren't rod or main bearings. If you can post pictures maybe someone will recognize what they might be from.

Probably chips off the trans gears corners, that will happen sometimes when power shifting, etc., usually not a big problem unless you start seeing a lot of that debris.

I've had those exact shavings too. No big deal, I think.
